Lapis Counseling was founded in 2024 and is dedicated to the wellness of all persons seeking support and mental health services, and all persons are welcome here!

My vision is to help clients explore and accept all parts of themselves, so that you can better embody and live out your truth; the truth of who you are that leads to living an authentic and fulfilling life.

My passion is helping those who are survivors of trauma who are living with post-traumatic stress, including PTSD, Complex PTSD, and dissociative disorders. It can be difficult to find a therapist who is the right fit and who has the knowledge and skills to help those who are recovering from post-traumatic stress.

Through a combination of multiple modalities, including trauma focused-cognitive behavioral techniques, dialectical behavioral techniques, mindfulness strategies, cognitive processing therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), we will work together to help you understand all parts of yourself so that you are able to feel whole.

At Lapis Counseling, we only work with clients who are 18+, and all services are provided via telehealth through HIPAA compliant platforms.

EMDR is provided remotely through the use of our telehealth platform in combination with bilateralstimulation.io, which hosts the remote bilateral stimulation that is required for EMDR. I have used remote EMDR with many clients and they have found the process to be just as effective as in person!
